White Team All-Stars Earn 2-1 Edge in 2026 Senior All-Star Games

White Team All-Stars Earn 2-1 Edge in 2026 Senior All-Star Games

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The White Team All-Stars emerged victorious in two of three contests during the 2026 Senior All-Star Games, earning a 2-1 edge over the Blue Teams and putting an exclamation point on an outstanding women’s lacrosse season.

Held Saturday, May 30, at Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland, the annual showcase featured top graduating seniors from NCAA Divisions I, II and III. After the Blue Teams swept all three matchups in 2025, the White Teams responded with a strong performance this year.

The Division III game opened the day at 10 a.m. ET and remained tightly contested through three quarters before the White Team pulled away for a 10-5 victory under the guidance of Catholic University head coach Meghan McDonough. Salisbury goalkeeper Paige Ellis earned MVP honors after shutting down the Blue Team attack in the second half, recording an unofficial nine saves while allowing just one goal during her 30 minutes in net. The Blue Team was coached by Allegheny College head coach Jessica Smith.

The Division I contest followed, with the White Team led by Mount St. Mary’s head coach Lauren Skellchock and the Blue Team coached by Johns Hopkins head coach Tim McCormack. In another closely fought battle, the Blue Team prevailed 12-10. Maryland midfielder Kori Edmondson led the offense with an unofficial three-goal performance and was named the game’s MVP.

The Division II Senior All-Stars closed out the day with the decisive rubber match. The White Team surged to an early lead and maintained control throughout the contest, defeating the Blue Team 18-9. Shippensburg head coach Brook DellaValle guided the White Team, while Virginia State University head coach Ashley Lawrence led the Blue Team. Saint Leo attacker Jana Nuss earned MVP honors after tallying an unofficial four goals and two assists in the victory.

With wins in the Division III and Division II games, the White Teams secured the overall 2-1 series advantage and capped the 2026 Senior All-Star Games with an impressive showing across all three divisions.
